Dan left school to become a professional musician. He played for various artists and bands across the world and loved his time in the music industry. However, he always had a love of making things with his hands and found that metal and wood were the materials he most enjoyed. Metal seemingly lead the way and he created Lions' Den Motorcycles. He treated the process of building bikes like you would a sculpture and so the natural progression to where things are now is the result of years of hard work and learning. He most enjoys sitting with a sketch pad in front of him creating shapes that turn into ideas that turn into creations. They don't always lead to where you might expect but this is the learning of life. It's just how you react to that movement along the way. This philosophy is what he brings in to the den, day in and day out.
